I admire your intelligence, and that’s a very cool aspiration! I adore learning languages, but Chinese wouldn’t be my first choice. I’ve heard that if your native language belongs to the Indo-European family of languages, you won’t achieve fluency unless you live in China for a couple of years. Although this could be just false beliefs of some sort. But I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you and wish you lots of luck and enthusiasm on your path! And you sentence looks fantastic – what does it mean? 🙂

Thanks 😁 I believe it’s more a matter of memory than intelligence in this case. Since I am familiar (to varying degrees) with some of the major European languages I wanted to try something wholly different, and since I have a couple of native friends that can help I decided to go for it. I know I’m probably never going to learn it to a satisfactory level, but it is a nice exercise and maybe I’ll be able to read a text or watch a video at some point in the (distant) future. btw the sentence is supposed to be “I am a man/I am human” 😄
